My DJ career started in 2003 I Hong Kong where I regularly performed at Progressive and Trance dance parties. I have played all time slots, however, I quickly developed a reputation for being able to play quality warm-up and closing sets which are true to the time slots and venue. I have also performed at a dance party in Taiwan. My music style was heavily influenced by leading international DJs such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Tony Moran, Offer Nissem, DJ Paulo and Mor Avrahami. I am now based in Sydney where I adapted my dance party style to fit the Sydney club scene. Vocal house and circuit (a blend of house progressive tribal and trance) has received rave reviews from promoters and patrons. When I moved to Australia I needed to re-establish my DJ credentials, to achieve this I entered 4 competitions; • ARQ 2008 So you think you can DJ, Semi Finalist • 2008 Break the Bank DJ Competition, Semi Finalist • 2009 Mardi Gras DJ Spin Off , Finalist • 2009 Midnight Shift DJ Competition Semi Finalist The competitions gave me the exposure I needed to refine my style and credibility amongst the DJ community. The Sydney DJs who have had a major impact on my music style here are Murray Hood, Mandy Rollins, Scott Pullen, Ruby and Paul Goodyear. In 2008 I commenced producing my own music; primarily to enhance the sets I play in venues.
